In celebration of our anniversary and the Fourth, we met my sister Rachel and her family who were celebrating John passing his boards at a resort in Phoenix. Although it was very hot, we loved playing by the pool and spending time with the Manwarings. To end our two day vacation, we went to a Diamondbacks game for 4th of July festivities and fireworks. What better way to celebrate our country than to go to America's Favorite Pasttime. The fireworks were a perfect ending to a perfect weekend. They opened the roof to the field and had one of the most amazing fireworks displays we had ever seen.

What a fun, jam packed little "vacation" we had! We're glad we got to spend the 4th with you guys-it was a ton of fun!
BTW...could you please remove the picture of me looking..hmmm...let's just say less than smart-not that I need to really say which one it is (it's pretty obvious), but the one at the baseball game!
